About the Role
The Marketing Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Operations team by ensuring the efficiency of marketing tools and processes. This role involves maintaining key systems such as the marketing automation platform (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce), assisting with data management tasks, including list uploads, and collaborating with both marketing and sales teams to execute and optimise email campaigns effectively. We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role follows our hybrid work structure where employees work 2 days a week in the Manchester office.
What you will be doing
- You will support the integration of Salesforce with marketing technologies to ensure seamless data flow and system alignment.
- Assisting with the setup, testing, and execution of email campaigns, events, webinars, landing pages, and marketing workflows.
- You will also be responsible for generating basic reports and metrics to analyse marketing campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- You will maintain data quality across marketing systems by managing list imports, cleansing data, and standardising fields.
- You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues related to lead flow, email campaigns, and system integrations while contributing to the documentation and refinement of marketing processes like lead scoring, data cleaning, and lead routing.
What we are looking for
- Highly detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven, cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and/or CRMs, such as Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, or similar platforms.
- Analytical mindset with basic experience using data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel or Google Sheets.
- Interest in process optimisation, automation, troubleshooting, and staying informed on marketing technology trends.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a proactive, resourceful, and problem-solving mindset.
- Ideally, you have experience in a startup environment and thrive working independently as a proactive self-starter.
At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is £30,000 - £45,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
