Finance Assistant - Weymouth - £13.91 per hour in Weymouth, Dorset

A Temporary Finance Assistant is required for a busy client for 5 weeks until the end of term. The role is based within a school and is 37 per hours per week.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Finance function runs smoothly, supporting the Finance Manager and budget holders in an efficient and supportive manner.

Key duties:-

• Ordering, processing and payment of all goods and services
• Preparation of invoices and collection of income
• Dealing with queries from suppliers, debtors, budget holders
• Chasing overdue orders and payments
• Management of all cash receipts including reconciliation of bank statements
• Management of petty cash
• Administration and maintenance of the filing system

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience of working within a financial role
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise

The role is office based with parking.
