Are you looking for an administrative support role in a busy vibrant environment? We have a fantastic opportunity to be a crucial member of our team in Superdrug Head Office. Working as part of the Commercial team, you will support the Buyer and Senior Buyer, in ensuring our cross functional category achieves its objectives. You will be working towards taking on category responsibility for Lipcare which will include trade reporting, event forecasting, range selection and review planning and working closely with marketing teams and Lip Account Managers.
You will be learning they key elements of the Junior Buyer role with the support of the team. You will get exposure to the workings of a thriving head office and will be a crucial part of our commercial team, ensuring all administrative tasks are carried out to a high standard. This role will give you the opportunity to develop the following skills:
- Experience within a successful buying team and exposure to Junior Buyer skills and responsibilities
- Increased confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Improved knowledge of the workings of a busy commercial buying department
- A professional approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Your day-to-day role and responsibilities will include :
- Managing the promotional process for your areas of responsibility, including loadups and forecasting
- Managing the admin promotional process for Facial Skin, & Lip, requesting promotional proposal forms, creating bidding sheets, and loading promotions on to our systems in line with company timescales
- Managing the promotional process for your areas of responsibility, including loadups and forecasting
- Completing all POS Sign off including small POS in POS Manager and large POS with the Marketing Team within company timescales.
- Resolving all promotional queries with Buying / Marketing / Suppliers and submitting change forms if required Managing set up and maintenance of products for Facial Skin, & Lip
- Completing Admin including Hierarching change forms, and Cost and Retail request forms for Facial Skin and Lip
- Being the main admin support, completing Ad Hoc request as needed
- Accurately raising debit and credit note invoices for Facial Skin and Lip
- Attending Lip supplier meetings to establish relationships with supplier base
- Liaise with stake holders and provide effective and accurate administration of product information, promotion lines, suppliers and stock
- Produce category information for circulation to our stores
- Supplier and category management of lip
- Performance Reporting
- Leading the skin events
Liaising with supply chain, finance, marketing, operations and online where necessary
