Job Description Working with Eurofins Consumer Product Testing, the purpose of this role is to Working hours for this role is up to 35 per week, with flexibility for part time hours if required for the right candidate. The working days will be across Monday to Friday. Maintain the Purchase Order systems for the Edinburgh Facility. Purchasing and creating orders for office supplies, laboratory equipment, consumables, IT equipment and other ad-hoc needs. Support on adhoc investigations that facilitate study management, specifically related to equipment and / or facilities. Responsible for ensuring that UK health and safety legislation is maintained and helping to ensure that the working environment is kept in a clean and tidy manner with due attention to the careful maintenance of all laboratory fittings and equipment. Work with the team to drive Eurofins Edinburgh facility forward through continuous improvement. Knowledge of Eurofins Edinburgh QMS in order to ensure compliance at all times with the policies, procedures and associated documents which are referred to in the manual, specifically provide your input on facility related areas. To assist through operating best practice in order to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 accreditation standard. Provide a high level of internal and external customer care. To partake in any developmental training as required in compliance with the Company Standard. Responsible for promoting a professional image of the Company and for complying with the Company\’s Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policies at all times, including work related events which take place outside normal working hours. Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Security Regulations. Qualifications Computer literate with great typing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of telephone systems with good telephone manner. Good organisational skills. Good customer care skills. Numeracy Skills. Enthusiasm, energy and a driven outlook. Excellent organisational skills. Maths and English at GCSE C or above,or equivalent. It will also be of advantage to have the below: Experience of working in laboratory accredited to ISO 9001. Experience of database systems. Additional language Skills (French/ German). Accountancy Skills. Ability to delegate tasks. First Aid Qualification. Coupa or similar ordering system. Science or Business Degree.
