The Role
We are looking to recruit two part-time Student Support Officers who will help manage student enquiries during weekday evenings. You will work alongside a fellow Student Support Officer from 4pm until 9.30pm on the Information Helpdesk within the Ravensbourne campus as well as supporting other locations in our buildings. You will be working Monday to Thursday each week and this is a 0.6 FTE role. You will be the face of Student Services during evening teaching and respond to queries from students who attend the helpdesk. You will also be expected to provide administrative support to the team as well as supporting work to log student absences. We are looking for a professional, supportive and welcoming presence to help students working in the evening feel connected to the support and processes at Ravensbourne.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a good telephone manner and written English skills. Experience of working in education and in customer facing roles is desirable. It is essential that you demonstrate your ability to support customer needs and communicate in an effective and clear manner.
