We are looking for a dynamic commercially minded and intellectually curious individual to join our Finance Strategy & Transformation team. This role is ideally suited to someone who is eager to learn, thrives on solving complex problems and enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, finance and operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering key transformational initiatives that sit at the core of AD’s value creation agenda. Working closely with the Head of Finance Strategy & Transformation and with regular exposure to executive leadership, you will help develop forward-looking business cases, drive cross-functional execution and ensure that finance is a continuous proactive partner to the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical and strategic thinking with hands-on, solution-oriented mindset – and who is looking to accelerate their career in transformation, business strategy and enterprise finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning and Business Case Development: Support the Head of Finance Strategy and Transformation in identifying and prioritising high-impact initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Develop data-driven business cases and financial models in cooperation with client facing and other internal teams that articulate clear value and support decision-making at the highest level. Lead or support the structuring of transformational workstreams that improve commercial effectiveness, operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Executive Engagement and Influence: Act as a key point of contact for (executive) stakeholders, contributing to the preparation of strategy materials, board-level documents and decision support packs. Engage with leaders across functions to shape initiatives, support in building consensus and ensure effective governance and delivery. Communicate insights clearly and concisely, adapting messaging for executive audiences as required.
- Program Leadership and Implementation: Drive the delivery of cross-functional transformation initiatives from concept through to implementation, ensuring measurable outcomes. Coordinate across Finance, Commercial, Operations and Technology teams to maintain momentum and manage interdependencies. Monitor progress and risk and ensure clear visibility of benefits realisation.
- Data and Performance Enablement: Work alongside the FP&A, SAC BI and Corporate Finance teams to enhance reporting, insights, and forecasting capabilities. Support the design and implementation of KPIs and dashboards to inform forward-looking decision-making across the business. Promote consistent use of financial and operational data in driving commercial performance conversations and business planning.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 7+ years of experience in finance, management consulting or business transformation.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen with a track record of translating data and analysis into actionable insights.
- Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and comfortable operating in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop executive-level presentations and materials.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects or workstreams to successful outcomes, ideally in a change or transformation context.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Experience in a commercial finance or pricing-focused environment is advantageous.
