We are recruiting a Healthcare Trainer in the South London area on behalf of one of the UK’s largest providers of complex care. Role Overview:

As a Healthcare Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing mandatory and specialist training. This includes:

  • Basic Life Support
  • COSHH
  • Infection Prevention & Control
  • Medication (theory & practical)
  • Moving & Handling
  • RIDDOR
  • Safeguarding Adults & Children
  • Spinal Cord Injury/Autonomic Dysreflexia
  • And more!

The successful candidate will be based in the South London area and will be expected to travel to sites and training venues within an approximate 100-mile radius including overnight stopovers.

What you’ll be working:

The standard working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, from 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Our client understands the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, they encourage you to discuss this with them, and they will do their best to accommodate your preferences where possible.

What you need to have as a Healthcare Trainer:

  • Training qualification i.e. Teaching & Assessing award L3, Mentorship award, Moving and Handling Trainer and/or Assessor, or willing to work towards.
  • Minimum of 18 months of occupational competency in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with physical and/or neurological conditions.
  • Strong presentation, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (travel may include overnight stays).
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
