Monday – Friday Day Shift
Overview
This is a great opportunity for an Electrical engineer who is looking to move in to a Monday – Friday based role with no nights or weekend work. One of the areas growing and expanding sites are looking to recruit an Electrical engineer and are ready to speak to people now. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance as well as getting involved in project and improvement work on site. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be challenged on a daily basis. The company are looking to speak to people who are electrically biased and qualified.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer
- Proactive maintenance and site PMs
- Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
- Working across mechanical faults and maintenance
- Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
- Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output
- Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site
Requirements for the Electrical Engineer
- Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
- Experienced in electrical engineering, ideally in a manufacturing, logistics or industrial environment.
- Experience working in a maintenance engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industry
- Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
