Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of third-line network engineers in a high-availability NOC environment.
  • Oversee escalated network issues, ensuring timely resolution of complex problems and minimising service disruption.
  • Champion continuous improvement by guiding team members, conducting performance reviews, and promoting professional development.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting and workload monitoring using ServiceNow ITSM.
  • Align network services with business goals by working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Support the onboarding of new products and services, ensuring the NOC maintains high service levels through transition and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with network security policies and engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance on a wide range of networking technologies and solutions.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven leadership experience managing a third-line support or NOC engineering team.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM or similar service management platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade networking solutions from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems.
  • Relevant certifications or equivalent knowledge at CCNP (ENT/DC/SP/SEC) or JNCIP-ENT level.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical issues to stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive problem solver with strong decision-making skills and a strategic mindset.
