Introduction The primary role of the Manufacturing Technicianwill be to run large complex computerised machinery and equipment,logging results and data and working to achieve high quality standards. Responsibilities Running, setting and operating of large complex machinery and equipment Fault finding and basic maintenance tasks on the equipment when required Work to high quality standard to produce the products Work to the site\’s health and safety procedures Participates in 5S methodology and ensures work areas are clean, tidy and HSE compliant Ideal Experience Although full training will be provided due to the complexity of the machines, equipment and controls,previous machining experience, especially with computerised controls is beneficial as well as a can-doattitude and a willingness to learn new skills. Any previous experience or knowledge ofengineering drawings or manufacturing experience would beideal as well asa drive and ambition within engineering, The machinery used on site is semi-automated and have computerised controls, the machines and robots are setup,monitored and run by the Technicians and work to high quality standards. There is a lot of computerised controls and touch screens for the equipment. This Manufacturing Technician is a great opportunity to learn new skills and there is career progression opportunities for the right people, they are looking for someone to stay in the business long term and grow with them.
