We are currently working with an independent dealership who are looking to recruit an experienced Car Buyer for their company.
About the Role:
- Pricing and re-pricing of stock vehicles in line with market on a daily basis.
- Visiting auctions, trade premises and private individuals to purchase vehicles.
- Always monitoring the demand for different models of vehicles and using this information to effectively value vehicles and anticipate buying demands.
- You will need to be confident in your approach and you will be required to negotiate prices for the purchasing of vehicles.
- To dispose of vehicles to the trade on behalf of dealerships, accurately valuing vehicles for the dealership to generate and maximise profit opportunities.
- Arranging and organising the delivery of stock and maintaining good relationships with clients outside the dealership to increase sales.
About you:
- You will have previous experience in a Car Buyer position.
- Be friendly and have great customer facing skills.
- You will be required to comply with Quality Standards, keep organised and up to date with all paperwork, ensuring all paperwork is passed on to relevant accountant.
- Full UK Licence.
Package:
- Basic salary up to £35,000 with an OTE of £45,000.
- Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00-6:00 with Saturdays on rota.
