Salary - £35,000.00 - £45,000.00 (Dependant on experience)

To join one of the UKs leading customs service providers in a hybrid style position at their site based on the outskirts of Folkstone. The company has helped some of the biggest names in the logistics and freight market with getting their goods shipped, on time and with minimal complexities. This will be a new appointment for the business, and as such you will be required to drive planned business growth, increase conversion rates and ensure consistent outreach. The client is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, so long as you are well versed in customs and hold some recent sales experience there will be a high likelihood of interest.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and management of effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through lead generation and networking.
  • Research the market and competition.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and events as well as customer meetings.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Produce regular reports on new client progress and prospect pipeline.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office and email systems.
  • Knowledge on selling customs services (Desirable).
  • Happy to attend F2F client meetings and attend networking events (Essential).
