As a fraud data scientist at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities include delivering end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and industry best practices. You will be involved in the design and architecture of solutions while focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle. Our fraud analytics team is central to this venture, focused on transforming innovative ideas into actionable solutions for our customers. We are seeking individuals with a curious mindset, collaborative spirit, and passion for new technology. Our team members are solution-oriented, commercially savvy, and have a fintech mindset. Job specifications include: The Fraud & Financial Crime Product function leads the first line of defense for fraud & financial crime risk, including strategy and control framework ownership across all products and channels. Working within a specialized fraud team, you will ensure transaction monitoring and controls are optimized to reduce risks while maintaining a first-class client experience. You will support the product from an analytics perspective.
- Developing and implementing fraud detection strategies and rules to identify fraudulent activities effectively.
- Conducting analytics to support fraud products, operations, and financial crime prevention to protect customers and the bank.
- Supporting fraud operations to enhance efficiency and decision accuracy, translating fraud strategies into operational impacts.
- Collaborating with second-line fraud risk teams to ensure models, rulesets, and strategies are effective.
- Ensuring compliance with audit and control frameworks, using data to demonstrate adherence to regulations.
- Sharing best practices across JP Morgan Chase & Co.
- Communicating effectively with all management levels and partners through written, oral, and presentation skills.
Minimum qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
