Autoscan UK Ltd is a leading provider of quality assurance and inspection services to the automotive industry. With years of experience and a commitment to excellence, we partner with top automotive manufacturers to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
We are currently looking to recruit a Quality Inspector for an exciting new opportunity based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The Quality Inspector in this role will join our established quality team and will be responsible for inspection and potential rework activities on components and assemblies and the completion of relevant reporting data.
The Quality Inspector will carry out visual inspection of metal components under microscope working to written work instructions and will be responsible for the accurate completion of detailed inspection reporting documentation.
Applicants should ideally have previous visual inspection experience; however, training will be provided to individuals who can demonstrate good communication skills, numeracy, computer literacy and have excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar Quality assurance type role preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic hourly rate of £12.21 per hour, with premiums for shifts and weekend working. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS criminal record check and must possess valid right to work in the UK, as we are unable to support visa sponsorship.
