We’re hiring a Field Engineer on behalf of a growing renewable energy contractor to support the installation and commissioning of BESS and solar PV systems across the UK. This is a mobile, hands-on role ideal for someone eager to grow in a fast-moving clean energy environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct on-site inspections, testing, and commissioning
- Support installations and ensure compliance with technical standards
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and escalate as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold HSEQ protocols
- Travel regularly to project sites (must be flexible and field-ready)
What we’re looking for:
- 1–3 years' experience in solar and/or BESS field engineering
- BS7671 (18th Edition) and Inspection & Testing (I&T) certifications required
- Strong electrical problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Comfortable with travel and field-based working
- Full UK driving licence
- Safety-first mindset and HSEQ awareness
