Job Summary

We are hiring a Head of Marketing for a growing fintech business that supports UK SMEs with flexible funding solutions. This is a hands-on, strategic marketing role focused on lead generation, lead conversion, CRM management, and customer retention. You will report directly to the CMO and play a key part in shaping how the company attracts, converts, and retains small business customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lead generation campaigns across digital, email, content, and partner channels
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimise conversion rates and improve lead-to-sale performance
  • Own the CRM platform (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce), manage automation, segmentation, and reporting
  • Develop customer lifecycle programmes to increase engagement, retention, and repeat business
  • Oversee digital channels including the website, paid media, and SEO to drive acquisition
  • Create high-quality content such as blogs, guides, and case studies tailored to SME audiences
  • Manage and grow affiliate, broker, and referral partnerships to expand reach
  • Analyse campaign results, measure ROI, and present insights to the wider leadership team

Required Skills & Experience

  • B2B marketing experience, ideally within fintech, financial services, or SME lending
  • Strong knowledge of lead generation and CRM marketing
  • Experience managing and optimising conversion funnels
  • Confident using marketing automation tools and CRM systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially focused with strong data analysis and reporting abilities
