What will you be doing?
- Managing projects or work-streams of a small to medium size and complexity (including analysing and interpreting data, drafting report findings and facilitating client meetings).
- Supporting the Firm’s risk management and assurance processes appropriately and effectively.
- Understanding own development needs and proactively seeking out and acting upon feedback to enhance and sustain performance.
- Playing an active role in supporting colleagues within the team and in the wider firm, taking responsibility for cultural improvement and living the KPMG values.
- Business Development: Supporting the establishment and development of relationships both internally within KPMG and externally with clients, as well supporting business development activity to secure future programmes of work.
- Supporting and contributing to the development of proposals and client presentations.
- Supporting the development of market leading materials, leading KPMG’s presence at events, and creating publications for our website on areas of specific expertise.
- Practice Development: Supporting the design and creation of KPMG specific GBS propositions, assets and intellectual property.
What will you need to do it?
- Have experience in consulting or industry with specific relevance to Global Business Services.
- Domain expertise in one or more relevant business processes within GBS e.g. Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Customer Service, IT, Data & Analytics.
- Be an excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a growth mindset with drive for impact and an ability to work with ambiguity.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality outputs, on time and meeting/exceeding client expectations.
- Project management and the ability to organise and prioritise your own work to meet project requirements.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the GBS operating model including systems, data, processes, controls and governance.
- Have the ability to articulate trends in GBS.
- Have knowledge and understanding of end-to-end GBS processes and their interdependencies to deliver a seamless experience to customers.
- Be an excellent communicator with the personal skills to build strong and lasting internal and client relationships; and the ability to deliver clear, concise, focused messages to senior business leadership or clients.
- Have flexibility to travel.
- Holding an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CIMA or equivalent experience) would be preferable.
