Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will live with one of our customers, or possibly a couple, to deliver the highest quality care. You will serve as a companion and support their independence and cherish the memories they have made in their home.

• Providing personal care duties
• Administering medication
• Manual handling, using equipment when required
• Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live life to the fullest
• Household chores
• Meal preparation
• Shopping
• Social outings
• Offering companionship

Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Assistant Role

Previous experience is beneficial but not essential. We prioritize compassion, caring nature, and patience. We aim to match Care Assistants with customers to ensure compatibility, and we expect our team to treat each customer as if they were family.

Because We Care About You

• Competitive rates of £600 – £625 per week
• Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays
• If using your own vehicle for customer visits, you will receive 35p per mile
• Three meals a day or an allowance from the customer, plus a private room with access to TV and Wi-Fi
• Regular contact with your supervisor and access to our career development pathways to gain qualifications and confidence in care provision
• Ongoing training and support
• Scheduled daily and weekly breaks, which you can spend as you wish
• A clear schedule of working hours and downtime each day
