Sensory Lab Technician

Quorn Foods is delighted to be recruiting for a Sensory Lab Technician to join our Research, Development & Quality team, based in Stokesley. What you\’ll be responsible for: Supporting the upkeep of our Sensory laboratory, you will demonstrate a relentless focus on sensory and food applications by adhering to good safety and housekeeping practices, specifications, standards, and best practices. Your primary duties will involve organising product preparation for internal sensory testing. This includes preparing samples to ensure the validity and repeatability of our sensory research, complying with set specifications, and operating various appliances and equipment within the sensory lab. What experience you\’ll need to have: Ideally, familiarity with sensory evaluation/laboratory research testing protocols Background in food preparation, serving, assessment, and adherence to standard operating procedures Excellent time management and communication skills Accurate attention to detail with excellent organisational skills Proficiency with IT, particularly Microsoft Office applications A passion for healthy, sustainable products that are better for consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
