Your role: Global Relay has a rich history of innovatively solving compliant communication and archiving challenges for regulated organizations of all shapes and sizes. Our Design First philosophy guides the development of our enterprise messaging and archiving applications. We are looking for a UX Writer to advocate for and empower our users through all stages of product design – from ideation through to design, localization, delivery, implementation, and adoption – with a focus on creating positive user experiences. Your responsibilities:
- Join a global team committed to its users, equipped with a state-of-the-art toolset.
- Champion our users by researching them, their roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, challenges, tasks, workflows, and more to create the microcopy and content required for their ongoing success.
- Collaborate with UX, Product, Technical Communication, and Marketing to produce consistent content for various touch points and contexts, in line with product, market, and corporate requirements.
- Contribute to the corporate content strategy, design system, UX writing style guide, content library, and the development of content patterns.
- Work with stakeholders to incorporate their insights into your content to ensure your work assists and benefits both internal and external users.
- Review content against established content strategies and styles; outline rationale behind suggestions and revisions to facilitate learning.
- Examine approaches for leveraging UX writing and design processes to streamline content creation.
- Identify approaches to fine-tune existing microcopy and UX content.
- Stay current with advances and trends in this discipline.
- Reinforce branding and corporate voice.
- Advocate ‘writing as design’ thinking with your colleagues and teammates.
- Assist in growing the department when new UX Writers are required.
- Coach and support UX Writers, UX/UI Designers, and other writing stakeholders.
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience UX writing for users of diverse platforms: mobile, web, desktop, surface, wearable technology, etc.
- A portfolio outlining your UX writing output, process, and design thinking.
- Degree/Diploma in English, technical writing, computer science, UX/UI design, or related field.

- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and empathetically with internal and external customers, subject matter experts, all levels of management, and peers.
- Passion for writing and design and working on cross-disciplinary teams, collaborating with the global UX team.
Nice-to-have qualities:
- Marketing copywriting proficiency.
- Localization tools and process familiarity.
- Knowledge of the financial industry, fintech, and/or compliance.
