The Role

Execute inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting relevant records. Ensure all coating and painting operations are executed in accordance with relevant codes, standards, subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans, and Inspection Test Plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute specific inspections on material, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant procedures, and issue relevant Quality Records.
  • Issue Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send non-conformance reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
  • Verify correct storage and certification of materials and instrumentation calibration certificates.
  • Witness/perform qualifications of coating processes.
  • Check surface preparation.
  • Check and record atmospheric conditions prior to painting operations.
  • Carry out wet and dry film thickness checks.
  • Monitor observations of the correct coding cycles.
  • Verify correct color-coding and painting.
  • Perform visual inspections and adhesion testing.
  • Perform penetration and impact testing.
  • Perform visual checks after blasting.
  • Orderly collect and manage documentation certifying tests, controls, and inspections, ensuring records are properly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.
  • For subcontractor activities, ensure correct implementation of approved Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspections, and collecting relevant records.

What We’re Looking For

  • Saudi ARAMCO CBT in Coating
  • Working knowledge of all phases and types of coating applications and recognized industry standards.
  • NACE Level II or higher certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
