Supporting this revolutionary product is a skilled team of software engineers working within an agile process to develop cutting-edge web and mobile solutions. The Software Quality Analyst is a critical hire focused on software validation testing to ensure the delivery of a quality product to our consumers. Daily responsibilities include defining and executing software test cases to validate custom software systems, reviewing requirements, creating test plans, detailed test cases, test reports, and producing quality assurance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute manual test cases and plans for application feature validation, with support from team members.
  • Identify and report software defects using DevOps, ensuring proper reproduction steps and detailed bug tickets.
  • Act as the first point of contact for overseas contractors performing similar functions, escalating issues as needed.
  • Confirm resolution of bugs through reproduction steps and scenario testing for fix validation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on best practices, process improvements, and standards.
  • Coordinate with the scrum team and development counterparts for bug tracking, test prioritization, automation, and release management; track quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in developing and executing software validation tests; strong problem-solving and communication skills preferred.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Test case management in Azure DevOps.
  • Strong soft skills for collaboration with engineering and analytical teams.
  • Background or experience in consumer electronics or IoT.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
  • Hunting experience or appreciation for the outdoors.
