Join a forward-thinking team delivering high-quality rural valuations across the region. I’m working with a highly respected property consultancy that is expanding its rural valuation offering across the South and East of England. As part of this growth, we’re looking to bring on board qualified RICS registered valuers to support a well-established team working across a diverse range of valuation instructions - from national portfolio contracts to specialist taxation and financial reporting work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their valuation career within a supportive and ambitious environment. You’ll be joining a national team of over 45 rural valuers, working closely with senior leadership to deliver expert advice to clients ranging from private estates and councils to lenders and government bodies.
What makes this opportunity stand out?
- You’ll have the autonomy to grow your own client base while benefiting from the strength and resources of a national team.
- There’s a real focus on career progression, with opportunities to specialise in emerging sectors like natural capital, heritage assets, and rural diversification.
- The firm offers a competitive salary and one of the most flexible benefits packages in the sector - including options for additional leave, health cash plans, and hybrid working.
- Flexible or part-time working options are genuinely supported.
Day-to-day, your role will include:
- Delivering high-quality valuation advice across the South and East, focusing on a broad mix of rural property types.
- Handling an existing pipeline of taxation and specialist valuation work.
- Supporting business development efforts, both regionally and through London-based professional networks.
- Collaborating with marketing and research teams to grow market presence.
- Playing a key role in complex valuation projects for private clients, public sector bodies, and national portfolios.
What are we looking for?
- Ideally, you’re a qualified RICS registered valuer (newly qualified to 2 years PQE considered) with a background in rural surveying - but we’re open to those from adjacent disciplines who are looking to transition into the rural space.
- Enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service are more important than ticking every technical box on day one.
- You’ll need to be comfortable juggling multiple projects, working across both regional and national instructions, and happy to be part of a collaborative and growing team that values knowledge-sharing and innovation.
Interested? If this sounds like the kind of opportunity you’ve been waiting for - whether you’re actively looking or just curious about what’s next - I’d love to have a confidential chat. This is a rare chance to shape your career within a dynamic, supportive, and well-resourced rural valuation team.
