We’re The Leith Agency - Scotland’s leading creative agency. We have offices in Edinburgh and Manchester. Established in 1984, Leith delivers its trademark bold ideas through advertising and design, digital, experiences, social and health. For this role, your focus will be Advertising, Social and Design working with incredible clients, including Network Rail, Glen’s Vodka, ScotRail, National Trust for Scotland and East Midlands Railway.
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager who is ideally based in or within commuting distance of Edinburgh to work within the Client Services team to deliver Advertising and Design projects across various channels/formats such as Film, radio, OOH, experiential and digital. You’ll be confident in managing all aspects of a project life cycle, with at least 2-3 years of experience either agency or client side. Experience in a creative agency environment would be beneficial but is not compulsory.
You’ll thrive on working with talented people to deliver great results for our clients, bringing teams on the journey with you, and be adept at staying on top of the detail and project commercials. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of exceptional client service, willing to go the extra mile to exceed client expectations, solutions driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being seen as the main point of contact for your projects and building trust, confidence and developing strong relationships with your clients.
- Helping to develop winning strategies for them working closely with our strategy team.
- Presenting strategy and creative work to our clients and ensuring clarity on how to develop these.
- Facilitating status meetings with the team and supporting their needs while helping remove any blockers to getting work through the agency.
- Keeping clients and the internal team fully informed of the progress of all work and any changes that may occur to the scope of work.
- Working closely with creatives, designers and producers as well as external suppliers to deliver best in class Advertising and Design products.
- Being an effective manager of Account Executive/Managers who report into you, providing them with a clear path of progression.

- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Able to bring your projects in on time and within budget.
- Outstanding client service skills, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.
- Strong creative writing abilities and able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels effectively and confidently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and number crunching.
- The ability to work in an open, collaborative and respectful manner with colleagues and clients.
- The ability to develop good relationships across the agency and our wider group of companies.
- Happy to get "stuck in" to events at every level.
- The role sometimes requires weekend/evening and unsociable hours.
- Be willing to travel within Scotland, UK and internationally, including regular overnight stays.
