Are you an experienced Mobile SMART/Paint technician looking for a new challenge in and around Bristol, Newport, and Hereford areas? If the answer is “YES”, then you could be just the person we are looking for!

Automotive Repair Systems Ltd is one of the largest independent Mobile SMART Repair companies in the UK with over 150 mobile technicians. We are now recruiting and expanding the Mobile Paint/SMART Repair Technician team specifically in the South West.

The successful candidate(s) will provide Mobile SMART Paint Repair services to our customers within Bristol, Newport, and Hereford areas, thus offering excellent earning potential.

A successful Mobile Paint/SMART Repair Technician should have:

  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Physical fitness
  • Good presentation
  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude
  • The ability to work to a high standard

Successful applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday. Preferred experience includes:

  • A self-motivated individual able to work on their own initiative
  • Ideally a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ paint repair experience (preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
  • Able to paint a minimum of 2 vertical panels and blend
  • Great attention to detail
  • Previous customer-facing experience
  • Basic Maths and English skills
  • Prepared to travel on a daily/mobile basis to carry out the SMART Repair requirements of our customers
  • Able to be flexible with hours as our customers require
  • Good timekeeping

All applicants would be invited to complete a morning/half-day technical assessment in Bristol or at our Head Office in Orpington (all travel/fuel expenses reimbursed) before any offer is made. Following this, if successful, further training would be offered to understand our procedures and process requirements.
