Jenrick are working exclusively with a Northamptonshire-based manufacturing company to recruit a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their growing in-house team. Working within this 24/7 production environment and reporting to the Production Director, your role will involve: Keeping the machines running to meet production requirements Leading pre-planned and reactive maintenance and repairs Project management to include relocating machines internally, supporting the introduction of new products onto machines, and the installing & commissioning of new machinery Liaising with external suppliers for machine upgrades, spare parts, servicing and staff training (in-house and external from machinery manufacturers) We are keen to find someone who is used to developing procedures and taking a business on a journey towards a more pre-planned approach to maintenance, condition monitoring, and understand, analyse and interpret sensor data from the machines. Working hours Mon-Fri (some flexibility over start-finish times) and also join the callout rota to deal with breakdowns, so a full driving licence and availability to come into their Kettering site on rare occasions is required. This family-run business still retains a great feel, not a corporate work environment, and they are continuing to invest in new technologies and equipment. including £1m+ on 3 new production machines.
