FAFS Fire & Security specializes in designing, installing, commissioning, and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection, and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new Passive Fire Estimator based at our Head Office in Chessington, Surrey.

Basic Salary: £27,000 per year DOE

What are we looking for?

You will be a driven and enthusiastic individual keen to be part of a growing, high-achieving team! Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, you will work directly with clients and subcontractors. This role is ideal for someone at an administrative level looking to fast-track their career.

Role responsibilities:

  • Support the Passive team by estimating remedial works from surveys, risk assessments, local authority letters, and tender packages.
  • Assemble quotations generated by our surveying team.
  • Log and track inbound/outbound enquiries.
  • Estimate remedial works required.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with other departments and external companies.
  • Handle customer phone calls.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with our Health and Safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service or estimating roles.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to manage complex programmes.
  • Impeccable literacy skills.
  • Experience in the Fire & Security industry is desirable but not essential.
