Job Description: As a Family Community Support Team (FCST) Specialist, you will provide a wide range of community-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families. Clinical services provided include functional support services to attain treatment goals. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team, with many opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management, including an assessment of the needs of the child/adolescent and family
- Active collaboration with community providers and services
- Using therapeutic skills
- Consultation with medication providers, clinical staff
- Developing treatment plans utilizing an electronic medical record
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or education/counseling from an accredited college or university.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic fundamental computer experience to process email and access client/claims information within an EHR and web-based insurance portals
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
- Supervisory/Management experience
