What you'll do: Ensure assembly operations meet quality standards by auditing processes, mentoring employees, and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit vehicles during and after assembly to validate quality.
- Document and report audit findings for daily tracking.
- Communicate quality issues to internal teams and suppliers.
- Mentor new employees on QA standards and procedures.
- Support investigations, corrective actions, and process audits.
- Verify engineering changes and compliance with quality standards.
What you need to be successful:
Education: HS Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing (or 1+ year in truck body/walk-in van manufacturing).
Skills: Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, and perform shop math; strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork; basic computer skills; experience with quality systems preferred.
