Outreach Specialist, Private Markets

About the Role: This role is for a Private Equity Outreach Specialist within the Private Markets outreach team, supporting the content organization in accessing exclusive data through establishing relationships with third parties. The team provides expertise in datasets, assists with client requests, and supports Product and Commercial teams with engagement strategies. The Impact: The specialist will work with the Market Intelligence dataset teams to contact firms and gather critical information for research, content, and analytics about private capital markets, including private equity, venture capital, and alternative asset classes. The role emphasizes building and maintaining relationships with external data providers and internal stakeholders, requiring strong communication, project management, data analytics, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities: Manage market engagement and communication for Private Markets data. Develop and maintain relationships with data institutions and authorities. Initiate contact with third-party institutions via email, phone, or website to explain our needs and secure data sharing agreements. Collaborate with senior management to align internal and external partnership goals. Identify new opportunities and build pipelines through networking and industry engagement. Develop outreach strategies and execute proactive engagement initiatives. Create and edit outreach materials such as presentations and newsletters. Monitor and report on outreach effectiveness. Build trusted relationships with private market participants and industry stakeholders. Gather comprehensive data and assist in verifying and auditing datasets to ensure accuracy. Stay informed on industry trends and content sets to enhance knowledge and reporting standards. Support business-as-usual activities and client requests related to datasets. What We’re Looking For: Essential Qualifications: Deep understanding of private markets, including industry trends and customer engagement experience. 5+ years in outreach and partnership roles. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Excellent writing and editing capabilities. Preferably experienced with private market participants. Networking skills and ability to understand and navigate regulatory environments. Effective multi-stakeholder management and project management skills. Proactive leadership and ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
