We are expanding our team and are looking to recruit an Occupational/Industrial Hygienist based from our Halesowen office in the West Midlands and our Wakefield office in West Yorkshire.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and undertake monitoring programmes across various industries to assess worker exposure to hazardous substances.
• Provide consultancy to clients on improving workplace environments based on monitoring results.
• Conduct occupational noise assessments.
• Handle client enquiries and prepare quotations.
• Perform COSHH assessments.
• Write clear reports on monitoring programmes with recommendations for safe work environments.
• Carry out LEV assessments.
• Conduct Hand, Arm, Vibration risk assessments.
• Coordinate with clients and suppliers as needed.

Person Specification

• Hold relevant BOHS certificates (W501, W503, W507).
• Experience in a similar role.
• Commercial awareness and client liaison skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Hold a full Driving Licence.

What We Can Offer You

The role can be based at Halesowen or Wakefield, or be home-based when not on site. Salary negotiable between £35,000 and £50,000.

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours available.
