CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator Location: Worcestershire Shift Pattern: Double Day Shifts Join a high-performance manufacturing team dedicated to precision engineering. We are currently looking for a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator to strengthen the machining department, working with advanced Struder Cylindrical/universal grinding machinesto produce critical, high-tolerance parts. What You’ll Be Doing Set and operate CNC grinding equipment, specifically Studer cylindrical/universal grinders Program, edit, and improve existing and new parts using Fanuc CNC controls Manufacture complex components with precision and attention to detail Work within a supportive engineering team, maintaining strict health & safety standards Drive continuous improvement through participation in kaizen and safety initiatives Role Requirements Essential: Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding techniques Competent in operating and setting CNC controls safely Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude Proven experience in fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing settings Desirable: Ability to program directly from engineering drawings using Fanuc controls CNC grinding knowledge and experience Mechanical engineering apprenticeship background Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
