Serves as part of the treatment team, ensuring a therapeutic environment and safety of the living unit. Essential Functions Assist clinical staff in implementing treatment plans for patients on Mental Health Watch. Promote a therapeutic milieu within the observation areas and units. Engage in social and recreational activities to support clinical care. Monitor and document patient behavior and responses. Support safety and therapeutic environment by enforcing policies. Recognize and report unusual behaviors. Follow guidance from QMHPs on activities and interactions. Participate in meetings such as Triage and Shift-Change. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma; preference for associate degree or ongoing studies in human services. Preferred degrees: Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice. Experience in mental health, forensic facilities, or correctional settings preferred.
