Newark Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to assist in providing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses. This part-time position involves maintaining hygiene, orderliness, and safety within the department, contributing to a supportive and efficient healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist in delivering and supporting direct and indirect patient care, including the safe storage and handling of patient property and valuables. Customer Service: Demonstrate a courteous and helpful approach to patients, relatives, and visitors, supporting team members to create a motivating and stimulating environment. Hygiene and Safety: Keep clinical areas clean and tidy to maintain a safe and pleasant environment, contributing to infection control. Supply Management: Assist in monitoring and restocking supplies, promoting effective and efficient use of resources. Clerical Tasks: Carry out assigned clerical tasks as directed. The Outpatient and Specialist areas at Newark Hospital provide a hospital-based facility for specialist consultation, along with a wide range of diagnostic procedures and treatments.
