Job Description We are hiring a Catering Manager at Blisland Primary School, Bodmin who is passionate about providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. This role is term-time only with no weekends, offering great flexibility. The role includes: £13.35 per hour 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday Term-time only – 39 weeks per year Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to Caterlink and client standards Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements related to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation Enhancing the company\’s reputation for excellent food and service, exceeding client and customer expectations Managing the day-to-day operations of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans Acting as the main point of contact for the school client, recommending and implementing improvements Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets Supporting and training team members to excel in their roles, ensuring all training is completed and performance is managed Caterlink is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where every individual is treated with respect, integrity, and fairness, with opportunities for growth.
