Job Overview:

We seek Band 5 Staff Nurses for our Radiology Nursing team in a rotational role supporting inpatient and outpatient care, including new imaging modalities and a state-of-the-art Community Diagnostic Centre opening in Spring 2025. The role involves working across various imaging procedures such as Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, and Plain Film X-ray. The position offers diverse learning opportunities with support from our Clinical Nurse Educator.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver high standards of clinical care, positively impacting patient and carer experiences.
  • Work across a 7-day service with shifts from 07:30 to 20:00.
  • Adhere to safety and radiation protection policies.
  • Assess and delegate workload appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.

Person Specification:

Qualifications: Registered Nurse on the NMC Register.

Experience: Recent nursing experience in an acute hospital setting; relevant specialty knowledge preferred.

Skills: Willingness to develop further, excellent communication, and positive attitude.
