Kerry Robert Associates is representing a key financial services client seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial / Management Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified professional looking to build on their experience and take the next step in a fast-paced, forward-thinking business. You will play a key role in preparing accurate and insightful financial information, supporting system implementation, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and manage external audit processes.
- Support the completion and submission of VAT returns, Corporation Tax filings, and P11Ds.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and board reports.
- Maintain robust financial records and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
- Play a key role in the implementation and optimisation of Sage Intacct.
- Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with external stakeholders, including funders.
You:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, especially Sage.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and FRS 102 reporting standards.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a changing environment.
- Self-starter with excellent organisational and time management skills.
