We are seeking a Data Protection Analyst for a 12-month secondment/fixed-term role within our Privacy Team. This position supports our legal function in delivering Centrica's strategy, safeguarding our interests, and enabling effective, risk-based decision making through expert advice and insight.

Salary: £36,329 per annum

Location: Flexible First working arrangements; primarily remote with travel across UK sites and Ireland as needed.

In this role, you will provide high-quality, timely advice to the business, customers, and the Data Protection Manager. Responsibilities include managing data subject rights requests, legal data disclosures, customer and employee complaints related to data privacy, supporting breach management, and assisting in data privacy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage data subject rights requests within statutory timeframes.
  • Handle legal data disclosure requests in line with requirements and policies.
  • Support dealing with privacy-related complaints.
  • Assist in managing data breaches and liaising with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
  • Provide expert advice on data privacy matters.
  • Support the implementation of the Global Privacy Programme and related projects.
