We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a locum basis. About the Role: As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Locum, you will be a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with various acute and chronic conditions. You will work autonomously, utilizing your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions independently, following established protocols and guidelines. Prescribe medications within your scope of practice and relevant legislation. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and ECGs. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Provide health promotion and disease prevention advice to patients. Make referrals to specialist services as needed. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records according to organisational policies. Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
