Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Mitcham, CR4
Type: Long-term contract
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
- Assisting in creating an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting students with their individual learning needs, building their confidence and skills
- Helping with tailored interventions and activities that make learning fun and accessible
- Collaborating with teachers and the SENCO to ensure the best outcomes for every child
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with SEN (ideally in a school setting)
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- A caring, patient, and approachable attitude – you’ll need to be ready to provide emotional and educational support
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential, no matter their challenges
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
- A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
