We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented professional in London with a strong background in Outbound Sales and Account Management within the Payments or FinTech sectors to join our dynamic sales team at Lightspeed. As an Account Executive and Account Manager for our Capital offering, you will take ownership of a portfolio of hospitality clients, driving their growth and operational success by leveraging our innovative financial services tailored to Lightspeed customers.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptionally high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness on Lightspeed Capital for merchants;
  • Building a trusted advisor relationship with your customers and identify where Financial Service opportunities lie across your book of business;
  • Negotiating contracts and close agreements to maximise the growth of your book of business;
  • Achieving sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service to each merchant and coordinating with the Regional leader for Account Management to maximise opportunities within the assigned territory.

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • Outbound sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running.
  • You are committed to a culture of positivity and high performance.
  • You enjoy the challenge of exceeding targets.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Hold professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives.
  • Value feedback and thrive on constant improvement and learning.
  • Strong work ethic, and a self-driven desire to succeed.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry is a plus.
