An exciting opportunity for a Bid Coordinator/Writer to join a successful and award-winning main contractor who works across Devon, Somerset and Dorset on public sector and commercial build and refurbishment projects up to £35m in value.

Key duties include:

  • Managing the end-to-end bid process, co-ordinating input from estimators, planners, project managers, and directors.
  • Writing clear, concise and persuasive content for PQQs, ITTs, and capability statements.
  • Developing and maintaining a library of case studies, CVs, technical responses, and template documents.
  • Ensuring that submissions are well-structured, visually appealing and fully compliant with client requirements.
  • Reviewing and analysing tender documents, identifying key win themes and submission strategies.
  • Supporting lessons learned and continuous improvement across the bid function.

Individual: This would suit someone already working within a construction company in either a Bid Writer/Bid Coordinator role or could suit someone working within the construction industry who wants to get into Bid Coordination. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Used to working to tight deadlines.
  • Working well within a team.
  • Able to work in the office five days a week.
  • Adobe InDesign – advantageous.
  • Good with IT and Microsoft Office.
