Course Description: Spatial economic theory and urban public policy: firms and individuals in partial and general equilibrium, land development and land-use controls, urban transportation, efficiency and equity in spending and taxing.

Class Schedule: Tuesday 18:00-21:00; Thursday 18:00-21:00
The delivery method for this course is currently ONLINE SYNC. Please note that, in keeping with current circumstances, the course delivery method may change as determined by the Faculty or the Department.
Sessional dates of appointment: July 1 - August 31, 2025
Minimum qualifications:
- PhD in Economics
- Prior experience teaching this course (or a similar course) at the university level
- Ability and experience teaching large classes
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching over four or more years
- Experience with remote or online teaching
Description of duties:
- Preparation and delivery of lectures in this course
- Supervision of teaching assistant(s) assigned to course
- Preparation, supervision and grading of tests and examinations in accordance with University regulations
- Providing scheduled office hours for academic counseling of students
