Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design of ruggedised computing and video tracking systems using SolidWorks 3D CAD
- Drive thermal management and mechanical packaging strategies for cutting-edge electronic products
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes on time, within budget, and to specification
- Conduct engineering analysis including thermal, stress, fatigue, and vibration assessments
- Support testing, verification, and validation of mechanical designs
- Create detailed engineering documentation including BOMs, reports, and technical data
- Provide hands-on support to production, testing, and field engineering teams
- Assist the sales and bids team with design input, estimates, and technical content for proposals
