We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with and report to the Global Head of Leadership, Development & Coaching to identify training needs across our Group companies, and to implement and manage effective training and development solutions which enhance employee performance and engagement. This role requires a highly organised candidate with a passion for continuous improvement and a strong understanding of learning and development best practices.

Job Context: This is a hybrid role working from the Oxford office or out at one of our UK sites 2-3 days per week. Some travel will be required for effective stakeholder engagement. The role reports directly to the Global Head of Leadership, Development & Coaching.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the planning, management and evaluation of current and future leadership programmes including our Future Leaders Programme, onboarding Programmes, and our Mentoring Programmes, to support employee growth and development.
- Develop well-designed learning programmes, mapped to skills & competencies: Create and maintain a learning programme that aligns with the company's skills and competency framework, resulting in clear plans with agreed deliverables, milestones, measures of success and impact.
- Mandatory Training Compliance: Ensure all mandatory training requirements are met, and compliance is maintained across the organisation.
- Certification and Qualification Compliance: Manage certification and qualification processes to ensure employees meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- 360 Appraisal Management: Oversee and evaluate the 360 appraisal process, ensuring it is effectively implemented with processes that provide valuable feedback for employee development.
- Learning Platform Management: Administer and manage learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning and Franklin Covey, ensuring they are effectively utilised to support employee development.
- Learning Evaluation Analysis: Design evaluation surveys following the Kirkpatrick model. Conduct regular evaluations of learning programmes to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- L&D Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse key L&D data and compile reports for senior leaders.
- E-learning Design: Support with designing eLearning using Articulate.
- Policy & Process Design: Create and maintain policies and processes.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development
- Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on programme management.
- Exceptional understanding of learning and development best practices and methodologies.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess training needs and programme effectiveness.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent service orientation, attention to detail, ability to manage several projects concurrently, and first-class written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems and other relevant software, using data from them to continuously evaluate and improve programme impact and experience.
Desired Experience:
- Oracle Fusion Learning and Grow platforms.
- Korn Ferry competency framework.
- At least 5 yearsβ experience in previous learning and development assistant specialist or advisory roles, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Data Collection and Analysis Planning and Organising LMS, E-learning and Computer Based Training Tech Savvy.
