Inspector – Aerospace

The Role: To carry out dimensional & visual inspection of components to customer requirements. Utilise precision measuring tools like Calipers, Micrometer, Shadow Graph & special to product gauges. Carry out dimensional inspection using CMM & OGP. Visual Inspection of components to a very high standard. Use of customer drawings & specifications. 1st off Inspection. Communicate clearly & effectively results with supervision and management. Health, safety and environment compliance. Requirements: Previous experience of aerospace inspection. Must be able to confidently interpret drawings. Understanding of GD&T. Comfortable following strict procedures. Excellent attention to detail and methodical working practices. Patient and diligent. Highly motivated by high standards & product improvement. Ability to use manual inspection equipment. CMM & OGP inspection advantage, but not essential.
