We are a specialist provider of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, Powered Access Equipment and related technical services. We sell equipment and provide independent service support and LOLER/GA1 inspections to a range of businesses who use powered access, including end users, contractors, manufacturers and rental companies. We are the official Distributors for Sinoboom and Axolift for the UK & Ireland region. We are the sole Irish distributor for Dinolift equipment. We stock and offer for sale the entire Sinoboom, Axolift and Dinolift powered access equipment range along with related parts, accessories and we provide after sales service, warranty and technical support. We are active members of IPAF the International Powered Access Federation, and our Managing Director is a Board Member. Our Head Office is just outside Belfast, Northern Ireland with a logistics base near Coventry UK, and we work throughout the UK and Ireland.
The purpose of the Business Development Representative (Low Level Access) role is to actively grow Mobile Elevating Work Platform sales including the Axolift Low Level Access products specifically within the GB UK region. Daily activities will focus on customer visits, demonstration of equipment at customer sites, general site visits, cold calling, site surveys, trade show attendance, and daily operational and logistic support as required. The UK Sales & Support Representative reports to the LOLEX Managing Director and will also work closely with Head Office in Ireland. This position is based remotely; however this is a role that will see the successful candidate travelling throughout GB with visits to our Coventry base and our Head Office as required.
The Business Development Representative will be an important and integral member of our team. As a driven self-starter, with responsibility for setting their own diary, they will be required to carry out self-planned work to fill gaps in when travelling and to keep in touch with what is going on in key sectors of the market such as Construction & Fit Out; Warehousing; Food and Drinks Production to name a few. The successful candidate will be in direct contact with a wide ranging customer base. We require a well organised driven, willing & enthusiastic professional who takes pride in their work, a sound knowledge & proven experience of Low Level Access / Mobile Elevating Work Platforms who is keen to learn new products and specifications.
THE ROLE
- Work with the LOLEX Team to support the business development through:
- Sales and promotion of the LOLEX low level access product range
- Customer visits, planned and cold, to rental companies / tool hire businesses / end users / contractors
- Site surveys & demonstrations
- Involvement in delivery & customer handovers
- General visits for ‘pull’ strategy – developing an understanding of the market / sector / and opportunities for new business
- Depot visits and cold call visits to assist with LOLEX sales strategy
- Look for opportunities to ‘sell the house’ when out and about, promoting the full product line available / service contracts / workshop projects / parts.
- Work with the LOLEX Team to support events / trade shows / demonstrations
- Take part in OEM Partner training sessions
- Work with the LOLEX Team to help develop marketing targets / sales tools
- Gather and report strategic market information and competitor information to support business development
- Provide weekly reporting information via CRM and pipeline reporting.
- Compliance with the necessary health and safety protocols required for the job.
- Adherence to our company’s systems and processes as required.
