What You’ll Be Doing
As an Associate Financial Planner, you’ll work closely with an experienced Financial Planner, gaining hands-on experience and building the skills needed to become a Financial Planner yourself. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Your Planner: Helping prepare client files, conduct research, and draft financial plans.
- Technical Calculations & Research: Gathering and analyzing data to support financial recommendations.
- Client Interaction: Communicating with clients and providers via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Observing & Learning: Attending client meetings, taking notes, and understanding real-world financial planning.
- Implementation & Administration: Assisting in executing financial strategies and keeping everything running smoothly.
- Being Part of the Team: We’re a small business—everyone gets involved to support each other.
What We’re Looking For
- Aspiring Financial Planner: Currently in an admin or paraplanning role, looking for career progression.
- Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it).
- Experience: 2+ years in financial services (administration or paraplanning).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial planning tools, products, and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to Detail: A process-driven, organized approach with a high level of accuracy.
- Great Communicator: Strong written and verbal skills, with a client-first mindset.
