Physician Assistant- Picton Inpatient Unit

• A Bachelor or Master\’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies. • Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) Certificate of Registration in good standing or eligibility. • Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) in good standing or eligibility • Current CPR or BCLS certificate. • Minimum of 1 year of Clinical experience in critical care, Medical/Surgical area • Demonstrated ability to support and coach staff in the accomplishment of department goals and initiatives. • Ability to perform all specialized functions in the relative clinical service area (i.e. Delegated Medical Acts). Preferred • Recent Clinical experience in a hospital setting, emergency, critical care, or Medical/Surgical area or Military experience in PA role. • CAPA Interest Group relative to the area of work. • Ability to perform all specialized functions in the relative clinical service area (i.e. Delegated Medical Acts).
