• A Bachelor or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies.

• Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) Certificate of Registration in good standing or eligibility.

• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) in good standing or eligibility.

• Current CPR or BCLS certificate.

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in critical care, Medical/Surgical area.

• Demonstrated ability to support and coach staff in the accomplishment of department goals and initiatives.

• Ability to perform all specialized functions in the relative clinical service area (i.e. Delegated Medical Acts).

Preferred

• Recent clinical experience in a hospital setting, emergency, critical care, or Medical/Surgical area or military experience in PA role.

• CAPA Interest Group relative to the area of work.

Training and education will be provided if no previous experience.
