Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter, located in Portsmouth. The Carpenter will be responsible for a variety of tasks including constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Daily tasks involve measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, using both hand and power tools, as well as framing, and executing finish carpentry tasks. The Carpenter will also interpret blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients and ensure all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, and Framing
Experience with Hand Tools and Power Tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Good physical condition and stamina
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience in residential or commercial carpentry projects is a plus
Relevant certification or diploma in carpentry or related field preferred
